Effective date: August 9, 2026
Aftura - including RetireIQ and any Aftura-branded retirement intelligence experience - is built for trust before conversion. We ask for only the information needed to provide educational retirement tools, improve the experience, and, when you choose, help route you to a licensed human strategist.
This Privacy Policy explains how Aftura collects, uses, shares, and protects information through its websites, calculators, content, forms, communications, and related services. These services include RetireIQ and Aftura's inflation, Social Security, Medicare, and other retirement-education tools. In this Policy, "Aftura," "we," "us," and "our" mean Richard E Peck III, doing business as Aftura, operating the Aftura and RetireIQ services.
This Policy does not replace the privacy notice of any licensed adviser, insurance professional, broker-dealer, custodian, carrier, tax professional, law firm, CRM, scheduling provider, or other third party that may separately provide services to you.
1. The Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
Information you provide
You may choose to provide:
Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, state of residence, and communication preferences.
Retirement education inputs, such as age range, intended retirement age, estimated assets, estimated income goals, savings or contribution ranges, stated concerns, retirement timing, and preferences about stability, flexibility, or learning topics.
Calculator or assessment responses, including the retirement, income, savings, contribution, Social Security, Medicare, coverage, health-cost-budget, and inflation-related inputs you choose to enter.
Consent records, such as whether you asked to be contacted or agreed to receive follow-up.
Messages, form submissions, scheduling requests, and other information you send to us.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, full account numbers, account login credentials, driver license numbers, full tax returns, medical records, estate documents, or other highly sensitive documents unless a separately approved, secure, licensed workflow specifically asks for them.
Information collected automatically
When you use our services, we may collect:
Device and browser information.
Pages viewed, buttons clicked, calculator steps completed, and similar usage events.
Referring URLs, campaign information, and general location inferred from IP address.
Error logs, performance data, and security signals.
We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies. These help us understand whether the service is useful, where users get stuck, and which educational experiences lead to qualified conversations.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from service providers, analytics tools, scheduling tools, CRM systems, advertising platforms, referral partners, or licensed professionals involved in a handoff you requested. We use that information consistently with this Policy and any commitments made at the point of collection.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
Provide calculators, educational content, AI-supported explanations, and retirement intelligence tools.
Generate educational outputs, learning paths, strategist-prep questions, and non-advice summaries.
Save submissions, preferences, and interaction history where appropriate.
Respond to inquiries and send requested follow-up.
Route qualified users to a licensed strategist or other appropriate professional when the user consents.
Improve product design, content, scoring logic, AI guardrails, compliance review, analytics, and user experience.
Send administrative messages, security notices, policy updates, and service-related communications.
Send marketing or educational communications where permitted, with opt-out choices.
Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, errors, and prohibited use.
Comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use your information to generate a recommendation that you personally buy, sell, hold, surrender, exchange, roll over, convert, or otherwise take action on any investment, insurance product, tax strategy, legal document, Social Security claiming decision, Medicare coverage election, or retirement plan.
3. AI, Education, and Human Review
Aftura may use AI systems to help explain retirement concepts, classify user requests, generate educational briefings, summarize calculator inputs, and prepare questions for a licensed professional. These systems are designed to support education and preparation, not to deliver individualized financial, investment, insurance, tax, legal, or benefits advice.
We may process your inputs through third-party AI providers, infrastructure providers, analytics systems, or internal review tools. We apply safeguards intended to reduce the collection of unnecessary sensitive information, limit advice-like outputs, and route advice-sensitive questions to qualified human review.
AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not rely on an AI output, calculator result, educational score, or automated summary as a substitute for advice from a properly licensed professional who has reviewed your full facts.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
Service providers that host, secure, analyze, email, store, process, or support our services.
CRM, scheduling, communication, and workflow providers used to manage requested follow-up.
Licensed strategists, advisers, insurance professionals, tax professionals, attorneys, or other professionals when you request or consent to a handoff.
Analytics and advertising partners, where permitted, to measure site usage and campaign performance.
Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and compliance consultants.
Government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of our services.
Successors or counterparties in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
We do not sell your full account numbers, Social Security number, or sensitive retirement documents because we do not want you to submit them in the first place.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging it for money. Some privacy laws define "sale," "share," or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include certain advertising, analytics, or cross-context tracking. Where those laws apply, you may have the right to opt out.
5. Communications and Opt-Out Choices
If you provide contact information and consent to be contacted, Aftura or an authorized professional may contact you about your calculator result, educational request, strategist conversation, or related retirement intelligence services. Any consent language on a specific form controls the scope and method of communications requested through that form.
You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us. Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent when needed to respond to your request, maintain the service, or provide legally required notices.
If you no longer want calls or text messages, tell us using the contact method below. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
6. Text Messaging and Mobile Information
Aftura offers an optional, non-marketing text messaging program for people who request an Aftura conversation and separately choose to receive text messages. These messages may include confirmation that we received a conversation request, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling or rescheduling information, cancellation notices, and limited follow-up directly related to the requested conversation.
Enrollment is voluntary. Providing a phone number does not by itself enroll you in the text messaging program. Where a form offers text messaging, you must affirmatively select the separate, unchecked consent box. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, using an Aftura educational tool, submitting a form, or requesting a conversation. This consent does not authorize marketing or promotional text messages; those messages would require separate consent.
Message frequency varies based on your request and appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also request assistance by emailing hello@aftura.com. Opting out of text messages does not cancel an appointment or prevent communications through another channel that you separately requested or permitted.
We do not sell, rent, transfer, or share mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Preference Controls
For visitors whose location is identified as eligible for Aftura's current United States advertising program, Aftura may use first-party analytics and advertising measurement technologies, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement, the Meta Pixel, and the Meta Conversions API, when a page loads. These technologies help us measure campaign performance and understand which broad website actions lead to requested conversations. Advertising and analytics technologies may receive the page URL, device and browser information, advertising-cookie identifiers, IP address, campaign attribution, Google click identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID, and broad actions such as viewing a page, starting or completing a calculator, subscribing, or requesting a conversation.
When a person voluntarily provides contact information and requests follow-up, Aftura may use normalized and cryptographically hashed contact identifiers for Google Ads enhanced conversion measurement. Confirmed appointment, qualification, attendance, opportunity, or client outcomes may also be reported from Aftura's CRM to the originating advertising platform using approved click identifiers or hashed contact identifiers. We do not include calculator answers, retirement values, account balances, intended retirement ages, health information, calculator results, lead-priority scores, or lead-priority reasons in Google, Meta, or general analytics event payloads. Server-side advertising events use only the Aftura site origin rather than the visitor's detailed page URL where supported.
You can opt out at any time by selecting Your Privacy Choices in the footer. Saving an opt-out updates the consent signals provided to Google and Meta, stops future browser-based advertising events, clears supported advertising cookies, and prevents future eligible website events from being forwarded through our server-side advertising measurement. You can separately disable analytics; doing so prevents future optional analytics collection and clears supported Google analytics cookies. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies; some features may not work as intended without them.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an advertising opt-out. We also currently treat an enabled browser Do Not Track signal as an advertising opt-out. Advertising measurement is disabled when we cannot confirm that a visitor is in an eligible U.S. location, and it is disabled for traffic identified as coming from California while Aftura's current campaign excludes California.
8. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain records, improve the product, support compliance review, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, whether a licensed professional became involved, whether the information relates to a lead, and whether legal or regulatory obligations apply. We may delete, de-identify, or aggregate information when it is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, AI system, database, or transmission method is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using care when deciding what information to submit and for keeping your own devices, accounts, and email secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Aftura is intended for adults, especially people nearing or preparing for retirement. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to Aftura, you may have rights to:
Know or access certain personal information we maintain.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete personal information.
Receive a portable copy of certain information.
Opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling uses.
Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
Appeal a privacy-rights decision.
To make a request, contact us at hello@aftura.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority and information needed to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing hello@aftura.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." Please explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
12. California Notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar California privacy laws apply, California residents may have additional rights described above. The categories of personal information we may collect are described in Section 1; the purposes are described in Section 2; and the categories of third parties to whom information may be disclosed are described in Section 4.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16. Aftura is not designed for users under 16.
13. International Users
Aftura is currently intended for users in the United States. If you access the services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, technology, legal obligations, or business model change. The "Effective date" shows when the current version took effect. Material changes may be communicated through the site or by other reasonable means.
